Looking at it objectively, most of his coaching staff have either gone or are in the process of going so perhaps he doesn't want to expose his players to the negativity. The atmosphere at the club can't be that great at present, what with all the speculation, etc?

So basically any slim chance that Tomkins or Sakho had of being involved in the last game are gone. 3 days and the fuckers off, then G&S have a week or two to make a decision that could make or break them in the eyes of some of the fanbase.
